On June 17, 2026, the subsidiary of Shouhang Hi-tech, Shouhang Energy and Thermal Technology Co., Ltd., received the "Award Notice" for the photothermal and photovoltaic integrated power generation demonstration project (Phase I) in Aba County, Aba City - the concentrating collector system of the photothermal part. It was confirmed that they had won the bid for the photothermal part of the Aba County, Aba City "Photothermal + Photovoltaic" integrated power generation demonstration project (Phase I) - the concentrating collector system.

Project Overview: 


The "Solar Thermal +" 2000 MW project in Aba County has a total planned installed capacity of 200 MW. It is planned to be implemented in two phases. The first phase will involve the construction of a 10 MW solar thermal power generation project and a 90 MW photovoltaic power generation project. The second phase will include the construction of another 10 MW solar thermal power generation project and a 90 MW photovoltaic power generation project, along with the simultaneous establishment of a centralized clean energy heating station. 

 

The "Solar Heat + Photovoltaic" Integrated Power Generation Demonstration Project (Phase I) of the 100,000-kilowatt solar thermal power generation project in Amaquen, Aba Prefecture, Aba County, Sichuan Province, adopts the tower-type solar thermal power generation technology route. It plans to build a 400,000-square-meter tower-type mirror field, set up 1 absorption tower, 1 molten salt thermal storage system (equipped with an 8-hour thermal storage system), 1 steam generation system, 1 high-temperature and high-pressure rated capacity of 100MW once intermediate reheated pure condensing seven-stage back-pressure direct air-cooled steam turbine generator and other auxiliary facilities. The solar thermal power station is planned to use 1 110kV line to connect to the 110kV side of the self-built 220kV substation of this project. 


Based on the overall energy development situation during the "15th-16th" period, concentrated solar energy storage is an indispensable regulating and stabilizing stone for the new power system. The "concentrated solar power + photovoltaic" integrated power generation demonstration project in Amaqun, Aba Prefecture, is a typical demonstration of the integration of solar heat and photovoltaic power in the southwestern plateau.
