In April 2016, Shouhang High-tech received the bid-winning notice of "Qinghai Delingha Solar Thermal Power Generation Project Sun Island EPC Contract". The bid-winning of this project marks the beginning of the strategic transformation of Shouhang High-tech's new business, and the solar thermal power generation business is expected to push the company's performance growth into the fast lane. This project is an ADB loan support project for global bidding. The acquisition of the project is conducive to the company's overseas market development.
The first voyage energy-saving solar thermal project was successfully shortlisted for the first batch of solar thermal power generation demonstration projects of the National Energy Administration.
On September 14, 2016, the National Energy Administration officially issued the "Notice". A total of 20 projects were selected into the list of China's first batch of photothermal power generation demonstration projects, with a total installed capacity of 1.349GW, including 9 tower power stations, 7 trough power stations and 4 Fresnel power stations. In May 2015, the first-party concrete was poured from the 2 × 1000 MW unit expansion project of Shenhua Group Ningxia Yuanyang Lake Power Plant Phase II, which marked the official start of the world's first mega-kilowatt ultra-supercritical indirect air-cooling unit project undertaken by the first flight, marked the first flight as an enterprise with both direct cooling and inter-cooling unit performance in the industry, and established the position of the first flight in the air-cooling industry.

The high temperature and high pressure condensing steam turbine generator unit is used in the construction of this project. The proposed site is located in Dunhuang, Gansu Province. In the photoelectric industrial park to the west of Qili Town, the project has a heat storage system, which can achieve 24-hour continuous power generation after completion.

In September 2014, Shouhang Energy Conservation and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics jointly undertook the implementation of the "Research and Development of Photosene Complementary Solar Stirling Power Generation System" project project. The project device is operating normally, and all indicators meet or exceed Design requirements. The successful implementation of this project fills the gap of the domestic 20KW phosgene complementary Stirling power generation system, and improves the overall design capacity and manufacturing level of the domestic phosgene complementary Stirling power generation system.

In June 2014, the 1MWt trough-type photothermal power generation demonstration system of Shouhang Photothermal, a subsidiary of Shouhang Energy Saving Holding Company, located in Tianjin Test Base, has completed a 5-month continuous steam production test, and successfully conducted the first test of power generation of a small turbo-generator set at 3 pm on May 31, 2014, and has been in stable operation for one week. The equipment condition has reached the predetermined design target.
