Recently, the Inner Mongolia Dongyuan 2×350MW unit steel structure indirect cooling tower EPC project, undertaken by Shouhang High-Tech, has made another major progress - the main structure of the tower has been successfully lifted and closed, marking a milestone in the project construction and laying a solid foundation for power generation next year.
This project is the world's first hyperbolic single-story steel structure indirect cooling tower, with a height of 179 meters and a diameter of 148.4 meters at 0 meters. Utilizing advanced inverted jacking construction technology, over 3,000 tons of steel structure were precisely lifted to the design height, significantly reducing the amount of high-altitude work, ensuring high safety, relatively small construction volume, and controllable welding quality, thus guaranteeing construction safety.
This project provides a complete technical route and practical experience for the construction of hyperbolic steel structure towers for subsequent megawatt-scale generating units; it plays an important demonstrative role in promoting the green and low-carbon development of the energy industry and demonstrates Shouhang High-Tech's innovation capabilities and technical strength in the field of equipment manufacturing.
