Changji High-tech Zone 300,000 kW thermal storage + electrochemical energy storage project

The total investment of this project is about 2.395 billion yuan, covering an area of 150 mu, and can provide employment for 100 people. The chemical energy storage + thermochemical heat storage heating project is expected to be put into operation at full capacity by the end of 2026, and the molten salt heat storage will be connected to the grid in mid-2027.
The new energy storage technology of "high-temperature molten salt + compressed carbon dioxide" realizes the four-in-one supply of cold, heat, electricity and steam, with an energy utilization rate of 85%. It has low cost, long life, and is not limited by region. It is the preferred technology for power optimization and multi-energy complementarity.
The project scale is 300,000 kilowatts of molten salt heat storage (four-in-one supply of cold, heat, electricity and steam) + electrochemical independent energy storage power station, which is planned and constructed at one time.

The groundbreaking ceremony of the 300,000-kilowatt thermal storage + electrochemical energy storage project in Changji High-tech Zone marks that the project will officially enter the engineering construction stage. The project can make full use of the excess power of the power grid during the off-peak period to compress carbon dioxide, and feed it back to the power grid during the peak period, effectively "cutting the peak and filling the valley", undertake multiple key power grid tasks, solve the problem of uneven load of the regional power grid, create significant social and economic benefits, and strive to create a regional green energy demonstration.

Shouhang Hi-Tech will continue to follow the pace of the country's in-depth energy reform, focus on energy conservation and emission reduction and the creation of green electricity, and practice the dream of "making the sky blue, the land green, the air clean, the water clear, and the people harmonious", and contribute its own little efforts to the optimization of the local industrial structure, green energy supply, low-carbon transformation of the park, economic growth and industrialization process.
