Announcement on receiving the letter of designation of the company as the independent power producer for the 200MW CSP project in Maun, Botswana

Shouhang Hi-Tech Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company" or "Shouhang Hi-Tech") today received a letter from the Ministry of Energy and Mines of the Republic of Botswana (hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Botswana"), "Regarding the direct designation of Shouhang Hi-Tech Energy Technology Co., Ltd. as the independent power producer for the Botswana Maun 200MW Solar Thermal Project (Tender No. MME/PEDU/3/1/2024-2025)", designating the Company as the independent power producer of the "Botswana Maun 200MW Solar Thermal Project (Tender No. MME/PEDU/3/1/2024-2025)". The relevant contents are hereby announced as follows:
I. Contents of the designation letter
1. Based on the due diligence, production base and on-site inspection of the 100MW CSP power plant in Dunhuang conducted by the Botswana Ministry of Energy and Mines, the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Botswana specially invites Shouhang Hi-Tech and its potential partners to respond to the bidding requirements of the 200MW CSP project in Maun.
2. Shouhang Hi-Tech, through direct designation by the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Botswana, responds to the bidding requirements of the 200MW CSP project in Maun as an independent power producer, covering design, financing, construction, ownership, operation, maintenance and closure after the project life.
3. At the same time, Shouhang Hi-Tech is invited to participate in the bidder meeting and conduct on-site visits within the specified date of the bidding requirements document (published later)
4. Please be aware that during the bidding process of this project, the Botswana government will not bear any related expenses incurred by the bidder
II. Impact on the company
