Let the world enter the Hexi Corridor - Ambassadors and diplomats to China visited the Shouhang Dunhuang 100MW CSP power station

On the afternoon of June 6, the sun was shining brightly in Dunhuang, and the two 100-meter-high towers in the Shouhang CSP plant area burst into dazzling light. Coinciding with the 11th anniversary of the "Belt and Road" initiative, the Diplomatic Personnel Service Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Xinhua News Agency jointly held the "Let the World Enter the Hexi Corridor - Diplomats Visit China's Gansu" event. Shouhang Hi-Tech mobilized 12,000 heliostats in the Dunhuang CSP plant to form the slogan "Let the World Enter the Hexi Corridor" to warmly welcome the arrival of ambassadors and diplomats stationed in China.

30 ambassadors and diplomats from 22 countries visited the Sohang Hi-Tech Dunhuang Solar Thermal Power Station located in the Gobi Desert. Huang Wenbo, Chairman of Sohang Hi-Tech, Liu Fuguo, General Manager of Dunhuang Sohang Energy Conservation, and Li Jiefang, Overseas Business Manager of Sohang, accompanied the inspection and introduced to the diplomats the overview of the second phase 100MW power station project, the principles of the power station, as well as Sohang Hi-Tech's decades of continuous development in solar thermal technology and the concept of green and low-carbon development.

In response to the diplomats' great interest in China's solar thermal technology applications and industrial development, the on-site staff gave detailed answers one by one.

While visiting the core island area of the Shouhang CSP power station, the diplomats also invited the leaders of Shouhang Hi-Tech to take the bus together to continue exchanges related to the CSP power station.

Through this visit, everyone has a deeper understanding of the CSP technology, and has more intuitively felt the technical advantages of CSP, and expressed sincere admiration! A visit and an exchange have strengthened the connection between Shouhang and the world, and injected new vitality into the future development of the CSP industry! I hope that there will be more in-depth cooperation and exchanges in the development of new solar energy technologies in the future.
