190 meters "Western Petite Shoulder" achieves a stunning finale! Shanghang High Technology reaches a new peak on the side of the Six-Peak Mountain!

Shouhang Gaoke spent 89 days to create a new landmark of energy in Liudian Mountain. At 9:28 on September 5, 2025, the wind in Ningxia Liudian Mountain was still carrying the laziness of the early morning, but the "Western Little Spire" had already put on its steel skeleton dress and stood steadily at a height of 190 meters - the No. 1 steel structure indirect air-cooling tower of Guoanye Liudian Mountain Power Plant was successfully topped out! This first-of-its-kind double-curved single-layer spherical shell structure indirect air-cooling tower, which was constructed by Shouhang Gaoke as the EPC general contractor, used only 89 days and over 3,000 tons of steel to complete the magnificent transformation from the construction site to a northwest landmark. It is not a traditional "concrete behemoth", but rather a "steel model" with perfect curves. The 155-meter wide base is like an open embrace, and the 42 diagonal supports are like solid bones, and the smooth double-curved lines are a masterpiece of aerodynamic design - both wind-resistant and conducive to air circulation. Now, it has become the "top attraction spot" of the industrial park, and workers passing by can't help but stop to take photos. The locals joke, "This tower is even more photogenic than a popular tourist spot!" The construction process is like "building Lego at high altitude". Shouhang Gaoke divided the tower body into steel units, prefabricated them in the factory, and assembled them on site, reducing 60% of the high-altitude operation volume; BIM positioning, laser measurement, and "dual-person symmetrical welding" ensured millimeter-level accuracy; the 40-meter widened platform innovatively adopted "reverse lifting", combined with Internet of Things monitoring and "time-based welding" technology, enabling safe and efficient construction even in the face of the strong winds of Liudian Mountain, with a 40% shorter construction period compared to traditional methods. Facing the 50-year once-in-a-generation 23.7m/s and 100-year once-in-a-generation 25.3m/s strong winds in the area, the engineers conducted 1:1 simulation optimization using CFD numerical wind tunnels; they independently developed the indirect air-cooling system, which saves 70% of water annually, equivalent to the water volume of 3,000 standard swimming pools, providing "water relief" for the arid northwest region. "The Western Little Spire" is not only an energy facility, but also a perfect fusion of industrial aesthetics and green technology, and is a vivid interpretation of China's construction speed, precision, and wisdom!
