Dunhuang Shouhang 100MW molten salt tower solar thermal power station is the first 100MW tower solar thermal power station in my country.
The unit was connected to the grid for the first time on December 28, 2018.
In June 2019, the power station achieved full load operation, with an annual power generation of 86.4717 million kWh.
In 2020, the annual power generation was 137 million kWh, an increase of 58.3%.
In 2021, the annual power generation was 200 million kWh, an increase of 46.2%.
In 2022, due to turbine defects, experts proposed that the maximum safe operating load of the unit should not exceed 63%, and the annual power generation should remain the same as in 2021.
In 2023, the highest record since the power station was put into operation was set again. As of the end of November, the power generation was 235 million kWh, an increase of 21% year-on-year from January to November last year.
In 2023, the maximum safe operating load of the unit did not exceed 63%, resulting in a large amount of abandoned light, directly reducing power generation by 65.79 million kWh. In September 2023, the monthly power generation exceeded 31.92 million kWh, the longest uninterrupted power generation time was 338.21 hours, and the power consumption rate of the production plant was 8%. After analyzing various operating data in 2023, in addition to the power generation system, the operating indicators of the concentrating solar collector system and the heat storage and heat exchange system have been significantly improved.
The high-pressure cylinder of the steam turbine will be replaced from the end of 2023 to the beginning of 2024 to promote the matching of the power generation island with the solar island and the energy storage island.
The annual power generation of the Shouhang Dunhuang 100MW molten salt tower solar thermal power station has continued to increase steadily for five consecutive years since 2018. It has been verified that Shouhang's tower solar thermal technology can adapt to complex environments and various operating conditions and has good development prospects.
