Direct air cooling system
The direct air cooling system directly condenses the exhaust steam of the steam turbine with air, and exchanges heat between the air and steam. The process flow is that the exhaust steam of the steam turbine passes through the thick exhaust pipe to the outdoor air condenser. It flows through the outer surface of the cooler to condense the exhaust steam into water, and the condensed water is pumped back to the boiler.
The direct air cooling system does not require intermediate media such as cooling water, and has the advantages of less equipment, simple system, less floor space, and more flexible system adjustment.
